Levon Karapetyan was born in 1989, Yerevan in the family of musicians. He has been playing piano since he was 6 years old. Levon performed his first concert at the age of 9. During 1999-2004 he studied in the music school named after Aleksey Hekimyan, then he moved to the music school named after Alexandre Spendiaryan, where he studied during 2004-2007. 2007-2013 Levon Karapetyan continued his education at Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory in the class of the honored artist of Republic of Armenia, prof. Sergey Qechek and obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Between 2014-2016, he received professional development courses in music and dance academy of Strasbourg, professors Amy Lin and Laurent Cabasso grades. In May 2014, the famous pianist Boris Berman has passed master courses, and in April-May 2015, the outstanding at French pianist Bernard d'Ascoli His 1-st CD was released in USA in 2010. From 2011 on, Levon is a member of Vladimir Spivakov international charity foundation.

2005 – Prize-winner at the Republic Competition named after Alexandre Spendiaryan
2007 – Participant in the International Competition «Flam» in Paris
2013- Youth Award of the President of the Rupublic of Armenia
LevonKarapetyan performed his first recital at the age of 11. He has played concerts in Armenia and abroad. There are remarkable ones among the concerts:
2007 – concert with Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra, where Levon performed Piano concerto no. 19 by W. A. Mozart (conductor Ruben Asatryan)
2010, 2011 – with the St. Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra concert where Levon performed Piano concerto no. 3 by L.V. Beethoven (conductor Mikhail Tatarnikov)
2012 – concert with Alexandre Spendiaryan State Academic Opera and Ballet Orchestra, where Levon performed Piano concerto no. 3 by L.V. Beethoven (conductor Karen Durgaryan)
2016 Symphony orchestra from St Petersburg's Mariinsky Theatre Grieg Piano Concerto (conductor Mikhail Sinkevich) and Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 19 with the St. Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra (conductor, Alexander Dimitriev). Levon Karapetyan’s repertoire includes piano works of Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky,Schubert, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Khachaturian and others.
